I posted an activity in the French Club Classroom to create a calendar of photos using French vocabulary words. I sed the alphabet and accent marks for the scavenger hunt activity. I, unfortunately, was the only one to do it! I tried to relate my pictures to represent the coronavirus situation we were in and post a picture each day as a reminder of what this month was like. Here is my calendar. I hope that all of you are recording this time in your lives with some form of documentation. Here is my calendar! I challenge all of you to do something for June as well!
What have you all been doing to stay busy? We are in full school mode, so I assume most of you are pretty busy! I'm trying balance out the schoolwork with the other things I love to do! I created a photo challenge for French Club which I hope all my members with participate in! I hope you all are well - stay healthy and stay sane!
Tu as pris des photos en ville? Has sacado fotos en la ciudad? Have you gone around town and taken any pictures to document the current situation? I found it both therapeutic and depressing at the same time. Editing them to set a mood made me feel a little better. Are you keeping news articles, videoing anything to document the isolation? I hope you are, and I hope you are keeping a journal of some kind. We are living quite an historical time, and someday you will be interviewed about your experiences. So go take a few pics and videos, write some things down, and keep some news articles.
Stay sane and stay healthy! Who's ready to dig back in to some learning - online style? I feel like it's as much of a learning curve for the teachers as for the students! I am personally ready for a bit of a schedule, myself. How are you doing with being productive? I know I could be better! Vous apprenez quelque chose? Vous étudiez un peu? Vous faites des exercises? ¿Uds aprenden algo? ¿Uds hacen ejecicios?
Would you like to see WC teachers do this? Qu'est-ce vous mangez? ¿Qué comen uds? What are you all eating these days? how are the trips to the grocery store going for you? I am so glad there are people stocking our shelves and continuing to work long hours for the rest of us. Are you taking the time to wipe down the packages or do you just bring things into the house? I am wiping things off before putting them away. I also washed all my produce off with dawn soap. Better safe than sorry is my motto these days. I hope you all are staying home as much as possible and taking advantage of the new learnings we are posting for you, as well as you taking this time to learn something new for yourself!
How are you all handling your unexpected time off?
Have you set a schedule for yourself to be productive while staying home? Feel free to comment below! I think it's important to set a plan for the day, otherwise I wouldn't get much done. My plan is to keep it as "school day" oriented as possible. I will spend my mornings on school work - correcting/recording anything you send to me, adding resources for you to use to stay in the loop, and researching new things for me and you to use. I will work on my photography Udemy classes and my photography in the afternoon, add scrapbooking and, of course, reading, to the daytime activities. Yoga and walking are daily givens as well. I highly recommend Yoga with Adriene for all your yoga and meditation needs. No time like the present to start a blog for yourself or at least journal what's going on in your world during this historic time. Stay safe and stay home as much as possible.
